Message from Owner

MISSING CAT - PLEASE HELP Please help me spread the word. My beloved cat is missing, and I am heartbroken. He is an indoor adult cat, completely black, with a very sweet personality. Last known whereabouts: Enclave at Briargreen If you seen him, found him, or have any information, please reach out as soon as possible. Even if the smallest tip could bring him home. Please share with neighbors, local groups, and anyone in the area. Thank you for helping me look for my baby.

L Dexter Price I put the litter box on the back porch because of the other strays in the enclave. Do you think he’s still around after two weeks close by where he could smell the litter box if I move it to the front porch? We’ve looked several days in the enclave at night and wee hours in the morning. I drive around near by outside of the enclave calling his name. I did put my worn clothing under the garage door. There are some apartments catty corner to the enclave. I thought I saw him there in the dog park, but he crawled in underneath the building with some other cats.

DISREGARD Comments about not using litterbox this works! Put litterbox outside so he or she can smell their own scent and find their way home easier. Don’t leave food outside because that could attract predators or stray cats and scare he or she off. Go for a walk around the area and call from the car then sit outside your house and call for him or her and also just talk in your normal voice and have a conversation with someone. They eventually hear you and smell their scent and find their way. Repeat this every day until she or he comes home. Also check neighbor garages.

Check on 24petconnect.com, they are linked to all the local shelters and you can search by your zip code. Call and physically go into the shelters to look for him.

Also try playing cats or kittens meowing on YouTube outside in your yard or in a window of your home. Check with neighbors as he may have been accidentally locked in a garage or shed.

Try putting something outside with your scent on it, worn socks seem to work best. If you have a garage put a bowl of food in there and leave the door open enough for him to get in. Although I am sure you have already done this, start searching immediately and keep looking. Look in bushes, under cars, and anywhere he can crawl into, they tend to stay close to home. Take a can of food with you and call his name or use whatever sound gets him to come to you. Search early morning, evenings with a flashlight, and late at night. Praying for his safe return home 🙏
