Be as proactive as possible... Do THIS ! ALL of it ... RIGHT AWAY ! ❤ Tell all your neighbors and the mailman..Neighborhood sites are great, but Lost n found sites are the first place people look when they find or lose a pet. So share AND check on additional lost and found sites immediately. Put flyers EVERYWHERE. Take flyers with you when you go looking for her so that you can give one to anybody you see so they will know who to contact if they see her or find her. Follow the excellent suggestions in your comments. Check shelters every single day, Yes every single day, preferably in person but at least by phone n ALWAYS leave your contact information each n EVERY time that you call. Notify local vets n police. Ask neighbors to check in their sheds garages bats n under bushes in their yards.( mostly for cats and smaller dogs). IF and ONLY If you have no other pets, leave a window or door slightly open in case she shows up on her own so she can get back in. Don't give up. Ask God for wisdom and guidance in getting her back home. Order a GPS collar and/ or Air tag right now so that when you get your pet back, you can get it on to him immediately with no delay. Those devices are a must. Do all of these things right away. Do not wait. MAKE A LIST of the suggestions in my comments n from others also, then get started ASAP. ... And pray ... I did 💜

Very important!! If your cat is microchipped PLEASE double check to make sure the microchip is REGISTERED and up to date with your current information and telephone number incase someone finds it and takes it somewhere to get scanned so that they can call you. You should have the chip number in your paperwork from who IMPLANTED the chip in. You will need the BRAND of chip to be able to call them and check. If you only have the number and Not the BRAND of chip you can enter it for free on this national website. When you enter the chip number in it will ONLY tell you the BRAND so that you can call them and check to see if it is REGISTERED and up to date with your current information and telephone number. https://www.aaha.org/for-veterinary-professionals/microchip-search/
