Angie Massicotte Stetler Again, I'm sorry. I've never heard of a shelter not doing an intake because an animal is microchipped. It's mind boggling. It's not up to the finder(s) to take care of the situation.

Laura Gunn Catterton, that's exactly what we were trying to make happen. It was extremely frustrating that day when we had him. I practically begged them to take him so she would face fines and he could get neutered. It's ridiculous 😒

Angie Massicotte Stetler Sorry, I would hand the leash to the staff and say he's in your custody now - walk away. Sorry, this is beyond ridiculous. Again, my/our tax $ pay for shelter operations and they need to do their job. Make the owner come into the shelter to pay the fines. After second intake, Neutering is mandatory.
