Laura Gunn Catterton , the shelter won't take him. They told me face to face that since he's chipped and that they know who owner is they can't accept him. I had Walter with me that day in person. Told us to take him home.

If you keep calling the owner to get him INSTEAD of taking him to the shelter, it's just enabling the owner to be neglectful. It's even worse that he's INTACT. Yikes. Walter will be neutered at the shelter and the owner will have to do better.

Please take the dog to Escambia Co. Animal Welfare Center (the animal shelter). They close at 4 PM today, Sat. 200 W. Fairfield Dr. Pensacola.
