Message from Owner

Please help us find our beloved family cat. She’s indoor only and very timid. We have been following the lost cat tips, per vet. We’re worried she might be stuck in someone’s grge. She is an older cat so we want to get her soon, away from the elements. If you see her please approach with caution. She is chipped. We appreciate any leads, even if you might have only seen her a brief moment.

Try Going out late at night ie midnight and again early am ie 5 or 6 am with their smelly food and treats. Shake treat bag and call out their name. Take a flashlight and check under porches and bushes. Also if you can leave a bat window and garage door open so they can get in. Do for multiple days if needed. Good luck

Susanne McCannon hi! We have looked all over the property, inside the house, and also walked around the neighborhood. The cross streets are Cumberland and Yosemite. If you want the specific address feel free to send me a message. She LOVES food. If you shake a bag of treats and say her name in a high-pitched voice, she usually trots right toward you! Thank you for your assistance. Any help at all means the world to me and my family, especially my mother

Lyger is definitely scared and hiding and you will need to go out at NIGHT with a flashlight and look for her “glowing” eyes. She is VERY CLOSE to your house… most likely in YOUR OWN YARD. They usually find a hiding spot very quickly and very close to where they escaped. Look up in the trees and check under everything in YOUR YARD first… under decks, under sheds, inside bushes, wood piles and storm drains. Then check your neighbors yards. They are very good at hiding. THE BEST TIME TO FIND HER IS AT NIGHT WITH A FLASHLIGHT AND HER EYES WILL “GLOW” BACK AT YOU. Lyger is so scared, she will NOT respond to you calling her, so you'll have to use your eyes instead of your ears to find her. When cats are suddenly outside, they go into "survival mode" and their entire personality changes. They will NOT wander. They find a hiding spot very close by and are very scared and will not come out for anyone... even their owners. I hope you find your fur-baby very soon!

Hi. Where have you looked in the neighborhood? I live nearby and would be happy to help. I walk around the neighborhood a lot. If she’s at all food motivated, I will bring some stinky treats! 😻 I hope you find her soon. 🙏🏽🐾
