Any vet or shelter can do a free microchip check that could find his family fast. Handsome fellow! Please use caution w/anyone saying “he’s mine” or “I’ll take it.” Your post is public and may get shared anywhere. There’s rotten people who troll groups looking for free animals for unsavory things (like bait animals to train fighting dogs or for target practice… and they usually send their girlfriend with a child so you’d never guess). You want vet references that you can verify *before* you meet. Go easy on the feeding as there’s issues with eating after a period of not eating- ask the vet or shelter when you call about the chip check. Meanwhile, enjoy your guest ❤️

He could have some rotti in him but those ears are too big. He could be a mix breed. Or have some hound in him . Here are Mastiffs.

Poor baby, he looks a bit like a Mastiff. We appreciate you taking him in. Feeding him and trying to find the owner. As you posted. Being skinny,he's either been on the streets or the owner wasn't caring for him, sadly.
