Thanks all. He still hasn't returned. I have checked all the shelters and put up posters. He is chipped but also has a cropped ear. Please return if you see him. He would normally sit in the yard and isn't afraid. I am hoping someone took him in and will return him if they see this. If you see him, pick him up and bring him home! He won't scratch or be afraid if it's him.

Also try playing cats or kittens meowing on YouTube outside in your yard or in a window of your home. Check with neighbors as he may have been accidentally locked in a garage or shed.

Check on 24petconnect.com, they are linked to all the local shelters and you can search by your zip code. Call and physically go into the shelters to look for him.

Try putting something outside with your scent on it, worn socks seem to work best. If you have a garage put a bowl of food in there and leave the door open enough for him to get in. Although I am sure you have already done this, start searching immediately and keep looking. Look in bushes, under cars, and anywhere he can crawl into, they tend to stay close to home. Take a can of food with you and call his name or use whatever sound gets him to come to you. Search early morning, evenings with a flashlight, and late at night. Praying for his safe return home 🙏

flyers on porches a block around. talk to neighbors. wont go far. be patient. inside cats get scared outside and may not answer when called. my blind cat was 5 doors down for 6 weeks. the neighbor kept the flyer and called me when she spotted my cat in her front bushes - where I had called my cat's name a million times.
