Message from Owner

Over the weekend of August 22 our apmt flooded – there was an inch of water on the floor – the cats were out for the day while rugs were being ripped up – we found Tom (Bessies‘s older, beloved bother and he is in the hotel with us.). Bessie stayed close to the hse for a couple of days and we found her hiding up in trees. We haven’t seen her for the last few days. We had neighbors report a coyote killing a cat one building away & found for the site that looked like hers… I had lost Hope for about 48 hours and then we heard meowing that sounded just like her outside of our apmt while we were cleaning. I saw the shadow of a cat running under a car – but couldn’t find her anywhere. We are praying to reunite Tom and Bessie soon. Any information would be so helpful! Thank you so much Jenn & Akoya

I walked through that intersection on Sat., but not since she was lost. I hope she's found OK.

Kevin! thank you so much for your detailed reply- really appreciate it. We've been in quite a shock state - will do the things... also was recommended to get a good wifi camera for outside / on our portch to see if she shows up there

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
