Sophie is Missing in Mount Airy, NC

Message from Owner

Sophie is a medium sized dog. She is very energetic and playful, however she is quite skittish. She is very sweet and loving and loves cuddles and play time. She walks with a limp due to problems in her back legs/hips. I have been searching and searching, and posting on local Facebook groups, and posting on the Nextdoor app. It’s been quite a while since I’ve received a report of a sighting. Any time someone has said that they thought they saw her I would go circle that area with my windows down so she could pick up my scent and hear me calling her name. She was lost from a friend’s hse near Northern Pediatric Dentistry in Mount Airy and (if the report I got was actually her then) it looks like she was headed North towards Virginia- but that was almost a week ago so she could be anywhere! Just found out about Pawboost so I’m hoping this will help bring her back to me! If you think you’ve spotted her somewhere then please get a photo or video if you are able to do so safely (not while driving!), and please reach out to me as soon as possible!
