Message from Owner

Nala was last seen yesterday (3-8-26) around 7pm in Watauga on Emily Mary lane off of E Fourth Street. She typically runs off into the woods and roams but she ALWAYS comes back. She is my best friend & my emotional companion. I love her with everything in me, I can’t imagine life without her. Please I’m begging yall help me find her. She is a very vocal girl, sweet and friendly, and loves to snack. I cook for her daily, she has sensitive skin and is allergy prone. Please if anyone has seen her or knows her where about contact me. ***Missing from Emily Mary Lane – Watauga / Carter County TN****** Missing since Sunday evening • Name: Nala • Breed: Pitbull • Color: Light tan / blonde • Eyes: Amber / golden • Nose: Pinkish brown • Wearing grey Seresto flea/tick collar • Spayed female – very sweet and friendly She is known to roam the woods but has never been gone this long. She may approach people or s. If seen or found please call or message immediately. Even sightings help! Please check porches, barns, grges, sheds, and under decks.

I’m attempting to get in touch with Nala’s owner. Have you found her? I live in Watauga and was driving home and thought I saw a dog that looked like her. I turned around and got out but then I couldn’t find the dog. I don’t know if it was her.

She’s my best friend, she was last seen in Watauga at our home. She went out for her normal quick potty break with her adopted puppy, the rain was getting heavy, when the kids yelled for them. The puppy returned but she did not. We live a good ways into the woods. Lots of trees and neighboring farms. She was only wearing her Seresto grey clean/tick collar

Set-up a Scent Station outside, with the owner's dirty clothes/tie socks to trees, etc. Try grilling out some meat... (You can also park near area seen, and trail food back to your car, (in the shape of spokes on a wheel. Say things like, "It's time to eat", and "Do you want to go for a ride?") Post also to Nextdoor & Pawboost; Put an Ad in the local newspapers; check Craigslist. Post Lost Dog signs in the area lost & seen, (in a 5 mile radius); Give Flyers to neighbors/Mail and Delivery people; ask to please check under sheds, decks, etc. Report lost to area shelters; check often in person, if possible. Hope this helps to locate the lost pet!
