Message from Owner

Peaches is a lovable but skittish boy. He ran off while we were moving from home. He always came back when he would run off but now we haven’t been around at all times due to living somewhere else. His left back leg has one claw sticking out from kittenhood. Has some orange fur around his tummy and butt. His right ear has a scratch scar. Responds to peaches and is very talkative. Any possible sightings would be greatly appreciated. He is microchipped but not fixed.

Leave some of your laundry outside your home to help him find his way home by scent. Also leave a door, lower window, garage door cracked open enough for him to find a way back into the home. They normally try to get back inside the same way they got out. If he is scared, he may be moving at night when it is quieter and looking for a way back inside. Hope this helps 🙏

What to do if you lose your Cat 1. Search all places inside and around your house as cats can hide in small places. 2. Shake their treat bag and softly call their name. 3. Search at dusk and dawn with a flashlight as the light will pick up their eyes. Outside they tend to hide under shrubs, under porches, in open sheds & drainage ditches. You can shake their treats while looking outside too. 4. Put something with your scent on it outdoors, on a porch or deck if possible or in a garage with the door cracked. Sometimes the scent brings them home. You can also put out their litter box but depending on where you live, it could attract predators. 5. Post on nextdoor & Ring Neighbors app. 6. Post on pawboost. You can download a free flyer here. 7. Make a lost pet report to all the local shelters especially in areas that have close boundaries. 8. Post on FB Lost & Found Groups 9. Post on PetFBI site and use .org as the ending. 10. If chipped, report to chip company but don’t forget to change status when your cat is found. 12. Ask your neighbors to check their garages and sheds. Your cat may be coming around the house late at night.
