I’m here to offer encouragement. Our dog was lost for over 70 days, in Lake Placid, in 2024, surrounding Hurricane Milton. She was found, and identified thanks to a very wonderful animal control officer, who remembered my posts to Lost and Found Pets of Highlands County. I hope Smokey and you will be reunited too. Keep re-posting! 🤗

What is really going on here? You've been spamming this forum for a cat missing for over FOUR YEARS?! What's the expected lifespan for a cat living wild? I'm not dismissing the grief, but this is abusing the forum and there should be a limit, both time and number of reposts...

Josephine Laux Um... 2022 is several YEARS ago, not months. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Post on Facebook's Lost and Found 941 and Nextdoor.com too. Also try getting Pet Detectives on the case. I've heard good things about them.
