Sandra Brinker Indoors is the safest place for them to be. Mine go out into the lanai and that's as "outside" as I'll ever let them get.

Sandra Brinker So true! All outdoor pets are at major risk of being brutally attached, and including getting hit by a car. Protect them by keeping them indoors, or you take the chance of them dying a brutal death.

Josephine Laux You might consider borrowing a live trap and learn how to use it, in case the cat is still in the area. Have you been to SCAS on Bee Ridge Extension? It doesn't hurt to drop off your cat's picture and your contact info with them in case the cat comes in. Ask to see all the cats, including the ones in isolation. I wish you all the best.
