I’m so sorry to hear this and completely understand your worry, as we lost our cat last year and thankfully she returned 24 hours later! It’s really important to get out there calling your cat asap. here’s a few things to try 😻walk the streets calling her asap with some smelly food like hot chicken or tuna/sardines to attract her over (late at night and early morning often works well as it’s quiet and he’s more likely to come out) but it’s very important this is done as soon as possible and for as long as you can. 😻pop some dirty laundry and anything she’s slept on (blanket, clothing) on your washing line - her scent will travel and attract her home 😻leave some water / tuna by the backdoor to attract her home (this may also attract other cats so be aware of that) 😻door knock on all your neighbours a few streets away asking them to check garages / sheds etc 😻flyers in letterboxes up to 10’streets away and in the local area on lamp posts with a good photo. 😻contact local vets to let them know your cat is missing incase someone brings her in 😻 share in as many local facebook groups and lost pet groups that you can to spread the word. 😻 check nearby storm drains as cats often like to hide in there 😻 Ask neighbours to check security cameras so you can see if you can trace which direction your cat went in. Hi, please check your Strom drains at the road side as some cats go down and sometimes can't push themselves back up. Also I seen a post where a lady found her cat between the shead and fence.

Not sure if I’ve shared tips on another post about her but in case not… Is she microchipped and desexed? Please advise as it impacts some time sensitive advice I can share if not. Please consider a humane cat trap asap 😻 Door knock at least up to 10 houses away to ask your neighbours if they’ve seen them and to check their sheds, garages, roof spaces, caravans, trailers etc. Make up flyers for a letter box drop, put up posters. Leave out your unwashed clothing, their bedding and some smelly food to help attract them home. Also call at night and walk your neighbourhood (with someone so you’re safe) and call them while banging / rattling their food - also take some smelly food to attract them as well as a torch to help better see their eyes in the dark 😻 Call all local vets within 5km and all surrounding emergency vets within 20kms, the rangers / pounds and the Cat Haven as well as RSPCA. Ask the vets as well as the rangers where their cats are sent if not claimed and ask after how many days they’re sent there. Keep checking their websites too 🤞 Flag their microchip as missing with the relevant microchip registry company. If you know their chip number, but not the registry it’s linked to (there are a few), use their chip number to find out at Pet Address. Please also check if their microchip is with HomesafeID. As they’ve now gone offline, please make sure you re-register their chip with another registry asap if they’re with them so your contact details can be accessed by vets, rangers etc. If it’s safe to do so for you and other pets, can they get back in the way they got out? It’s important to leave your unwashed clothing in the front and back yards to help them work out which house is their home 🤞 Have you shared to Pets of Perth - Lost & Found?
