Kenzie Lee it definitely is the same dog! I know my dog it very weird how you posted him but don’t have him. And now your trying to tell me it’s not my dog. If you have my dog or got rid of him best believe you won’t get away with it. There is a police report and your not making your self look good.

Layla Williams you should be honest... that is not what happened.. We were very open with you about the dog that we posted. In order for us to accept a dog into our rescue, we must post to find a Foster… before the dog ever comes to us. We are not a shelter nor do we have a facility. We did not and do not have the dog we posted, as it was never signed over to us. We never had direct contact with the person who had the dog, as they walked into a business asking if anybody would take the dog. An employee reached out to us for help. The person did not leave their contact information with the employee, as they said that they would be back at a specified time but never returned. We were then informed that the person did not come back with the dog and that our assistance was no longer needed. The employee was only a middleman, and her information will not be provided publicly, as she has no further information and did nothing wrong. We informed you of this via text message. You should post those photos instead of saying that we are unwilling to help. We cannot return it on that we do not or never had. We will not tolerate being accused or threatened by you, which is why we said we would not be communicating any further.

If you know who is involved call and make a stolen property report. Florida State Law This is State law ♦️ (UNDER 90 DAYS) State Law 705.102 Under 90 days you have NO legal rights to lost pets you find. This is criminal and civil. The only 'hold time' is 90 days and even then you can still be sued. When a finder of a lost pet decides to 'appropriate the property' that means rehome, use, sell, adopt or give away - it is unlawful because you have no ownership rights yet. When a finder is told to return a lost pet they find and they refuse, it is criminal and you can be arrested. It is theft by finding. If the value of the lost pet / lost property is more than $750 it is a grand theft felony. A lawsuit can and should be filed against the finder or rescue. 705.102 - (3) It is unlawful for any person who finds any lost or abandoned property to appropriate the same to his or her own use or to refuse to deliver the same when required. This means don't rehome or sell or do anything to the lost pet. (4), (which is criminal), Any person who unlawfully appropriates such lost or abandoned property to his or her own use or refuses to deliver such property when required commits theft. Due diligence Every possible effort shall mean attempting to locate the owner of an animal through reasonable means, which may include but is not limited to, the search for an identification tag, tattoo, micro-chip or canvassing of the neighborhood.

Chy Nadine yeah they haven’t really wanted to do nothing about it but we’ve been pushing and pushing but where about to just take are landlords to court they set it up for a lady to take him I really don’t think she worked at a shelter. But it’s very possible she does work for rescue but I’ve called every where and have been to the ones in Daytona I don’t currently have a car right this second so I can’t go to far to look right now

Layla Williams idk id they’re allowed to release information to you but they’d have to give a number or something to an officer. Problem is officers these days don’t care enough. Will probably discredit you and say it’s just a dog that looks like yours but it’s worth a shot …
