Message from Owner

Please help us find our big rumple-butt Diego. He was last seen Friday the 26th in the morning walking off our front porch via our Blink Camera. This big loveable dope will be your new best friend if you have tuna treats and chin scritches for him; he is generally very friendly even to strangers. He may be scared right now though since he’s been our indoor-prince for 15 years now and he’s not what you’d call “outdoorsy”. Any information, please call Melina @. His brother Ty and Sister Trinity desperately miss him, and so do his devoted human servants Melina and Patrick.

Melina Marie I am not sure what measures you have taken to find your sweet Kittie but as an animal rescuer, I have some suggestions that may help. Flyers = Sightings = Rescued. Keep the flyers simple so that people can read them easily at stop sign/lights etc and put his photo, the word LOST and a phone number on it and place at high traffic areas such as bus stops, bike racks, stop signs, etc. You can also give copies to delivery folks such as USPS, UPS and Fed Ex since they travel all over your neighborhood and May spot your sweet Kittie. You can even give flyers to local delivery places such as pizza shops and see if they will attach flyers to their outgoing orders in order to reach more people. Please ask neighbors to check in sheds, garages, etc in case he is inside. The best time to search for him will be when it is quiet outside between sunset and sunrise because she surely is in survival mode and likely hunkered down very nearby. Take a flash light out and call her name and look for glowing eyes back at you. You can take his favorite treats and shake them too to try and lure him out. Set and monitor a humane trap. If you do not have one you can borrow one from a humane society or I can lend you one and show you how to use it. They are super easy to use but make sure you monitor the trap and NEVER leave it unattended for the safety of the animal that may wander inside. You can also put your kitties bedding outside or something that smells like you to help bring him back too. Contrary to popular belief, do NOT put his litter box outside. Cats cover up their urine and feces to protect themselves from predators so putting the box outside may Keep your cat away since their instinct is to hide their scent to keep themselves safe. If you have ring cameras or your neighbors do ask them to look at their footage to see if he is spotted. And if you have baby monitors, you can place one outside and if you hear noises you can quietly go and check and see if it’s your Kittie. Cats are the most resilient creatures with AMAZING instincts so please keep the faith, be persistent, and I pray you can get your sweet Kittie back safely very soon🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
