Description

Domestic shorthair, with a white underneath and black and grey pattern on top, white patch on her nose. She is playful, lovable, loves to lick your hair and try to clean you, she will jump on your back like a goat if you bend over and we miss her and we were told she was with someone in Oakville.

Message from Owner

This is my youngest son's cat and when we were illegally thrown out of our hse because we reported the landlord for breaking my mom's ribs and reported her for leaving us in the hse to breath soot from the fireplace (I told her about it several times and she did NOTHING to fix it), we lost 2 cats!! As we were putting our 5 rescue cats in a 2017 jeep wrangler along with 2 other people and boxes and clothes, a firetruck drove by and she escaped and went back into the hse. They would not let me back inside to get her.......we looked for days and days, driving around calling her name in the morning and at night, contacting the neighbors and walking around. One of the neighbors told us that someone had found her and our other missing male Tuxedo cat, and instead of taking her to the humane society, they chose to keep her. At first, I was relieved thinking she was safe until we could find a . However, now no one will return my text messages or calls regarding the whereabouts of our cats. My, now 7-year-old, son cries EVERY NIGHT to the point of hyperventilating about Mellow and I can NOT stand it anymore. We would like our cat back PLEASE!!! We lost a lot that day, my son went through the most traumatic event of his life after losing his uncle and soon I am going to report the cat as catnapped! I will go door to door with the police if I have to.... We have another cat named Little, that looks EXACTLY like Mellow, that would probably prefer a new because she does not get along with our other 2 cats (the mom and sister of Mellow). If you would like to see her and spend a couple days with her to see if a bond is made and give us Mellow back, that would be my first option to solve this mystery. Please just contact me if you have seen this cat above and a male Tuxedo cat, please! I am begging you.....

If they are normally INSIDE cats... then they are definitely scared and hiding and you will need to go out at night with a flashlight and look for their “glowing” eyes. They are VERY CLOSE to your house… most likely in YOUR OWN YARD. They usually find a hiding spot very quickly and very close to where they escaped. Look up in trees and check under everything in YOUR YARD first… under decks, under sheds, inside bushes, wood piles and storm drains. Then check your neighbors yards. They are very good at hiding. THE BEST TIME TO FIND THEM IS AT NIGHT WITH A FLASHLIGHT AND THEIR EYES WILL “GLOW” BACK AT YOU. They are so scared, they will NOT respond to you calling them, so you'll have to use your eyes instead of your ears to find them. When cats are suddenly outside, they go into "survival mode" and their entire personality changes. They will NOT wander. They find a hiding spot very close by and are very scared and will not come out for anyone... even their owners. If you have a container or bag of treats that they really like... shake it outside for them to hear. And if possible, leave your garage door or a window open a few inches in case they come back at night. I hope your fur-babies are home very soon!

Marianne did you get my message about minding your own business and focus on helping people instead of making comments like that? Or are you the one that took her? There is A LOT MORE to this situation than anyone needs to know....I just want my cat back. This is not dramatic compared to what it can be...........move on and stop judging. If you only knew...........
