Brut is a sweet shy boy. He is missed by his family very much. He was last seen on the back porch Tuesday 4/11/ 23 night. We have a fenced yard and never really goes very far. Please keep a eye out for him. His human brother is very upset. If you see him don't approach him he will probably run. Just message us and we'll come right away. Thank you for your help!

DESCRIPTION

Brut is a large neutered male. White underside and back is gray tiger stripe. May run if approached. Please message if you see him. We will come right away.

For lost cats: Alert neighbors. Post in NextDoor, PawBoost, your local animal control & humane society. Post signs everywhere. Consider hiring a pet tracker: Balynda Brown (who also gives excellent tips) 919-418-7953 call or text; Epic Animal Recovery 704-770-8625.The cat is most likely close. Generally they don't go very far. Try leaving the door cracked open particularly after it gets dark. It may come back in on its own. If possible, set up on Arlo camera or motion detector to see when it is coming around. Leave out food & water so it can survive. Cats often hide in storm drains. Try sitting in your car at the street with the car not running. You can watch your house to see if it is coming around. Yes it can take hours. Continue to walk at night & call it. Leave the garage door up about 6 inches so she can come in. You may need to set a humane trap in the area where the cat was lost but Don't leave unattended. People steal traps with animals in them. Don't give up - sometimes it can take a week or two to find them.
