Description

Shes super sweet and very old

Message from Finder

I cant keep her and she needs to have a vet assessment she has tumors all over her legs back sides head and shes bloated but very skinny and petite. She was hungry and overheated when I got her to my hse and started putting bag balm on her areas where flies were eating on her causing sores. Now shes finally laying down in my laundry room in air conditioning fed and watered and safe. She kept trying to get back to the street but I didnt want her to get hit by a car so I kinda kidnapped her to keep her safe while trying to locate her owners. I will keep her till Monday then shes gonna have to go to a shelter or foster to get the proper treatment she needs I have 3 pitbulls that aren't friendly so she cant stay here unless she would be isolated to a laundry room and have to be by herself all the time and thats mean!!! Please help get her home shes so nice and she is old missing teeth. Wobbles when she walks shes a sweet dog !!!

Thank you for being their angel! 😇 Take and leave what applies: Please go to a vet and get them checked for a chip, it’s free. Don’t assume, this/dog could have been found, stolen, abused, then dumped. Post your on all the lost and found pages(not just this one) and on Nextdoor. Notify shelter you have this babe so they can know in case someone comes in looking for it. You can also tell them you can foster(if you can). Make whoever comes forward prove with pictures and/or vet records this at this is their dog. You CANNOT rehome a cat/dog you just found, please look up the laws in your area, but there are certain procedures and a certain amount of time(typically 3-7days) you have to hold a dog before you can legally rehome it. If you end up having to rehome them, please get and verify vet and personal references, charge a rehoming fee, and get them fixed if they aren’t already to avoid contributing to our pet overpopulation problem. Call 211 for free and reduced spay/neuter. Some lower cost options I know of off the top of my head are: SafeHaven($45-60) and GetFixedOK in Tuttle. Please try to do everything in your power keep them out of the shelters because they sometimes euthanizing daily due to lack of space. 😢 Good luck. Most rescues are full but some can still help, especially if you can foster: https://www.dogloversdigest.com/oklahoma-rescue-shelters-and-organizations// https://www.petfinder.com/animal-shelters-and-rescues/search/?location=Oklahoma&shelter_Ppr

Take her to the shelter. Don’t take her to the shelter. People have something to say either way. She should go to the shelter for treatment. Adoptions are free so anyone that wants her can go get her.
