Michelle Clevenger, I think you may be going about this the wrong way. Is Fluffy an escaped indoor cat or allowed outside? His familiarity with the environment will dictate how to find him. Escaped indoor cats usually hide close by but are too frightened to return or respond when called; while a cat that knows his way around may have become stuck somewhere and needs help getting home. I have recovered many lost cats and assisted others so if you tell me about Fluffy I can provide complete instructions that may help. Please understand an escaped cat may emerge when it's dark and quiet to sneak back inside — BUT ONLY IF you do just the right things. This usually happens within the first few nights so until I hear back from you please implement this strategy if Fluffy got out accidentally: BRING IN THE LITTER AND TOYS and AT DUSK lay a familiar blanket or worn teeshirt flat on the doorstep — do not use a litter box, bed, trap, or anything conspicuous -- along with tempting food at his point of escape. Call him softly to provide a familiar sound and direction (he won't come on command) then watch from inside (DO NOT GO BACK OUTSIDE OVERNIGHT!) and if you see Fluffy approach and settle on the food be careful not to startle him. Slowly and quietly provide a clear path inside and he may put an end to the crisis himself. If you can't wait up set an alarm and watch again just before sunrise -- it's a popular time. Again, although some will suggest putting out kitty's litter box, experts say DON’T DO IT. I've never used one in all the times I've been successful recovering a lost cat. Kevin Maclary hi Kevin yes I've been doing that for 4 days I'm up every hour on the hour at night with my flashlight and my treat calling for him calmly I've been sitting in my garage for 2 days during the day to see if there's any sign of him there's just no sign of him anywhere all this rain has just made it worse but I have a box of his toys I've got my gate open for him to get in my garage open enough for him to get in just keep and look out for him if you're in the area thank you

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be.
