I am thrilled to hear he is back! You are so very fortunate he is ok. They can "cheat-the-door" so quickly and quietly you don't even realize they are gone! If he has not been chipped - it would be a good idea since he may do this again! Please share with us how he was found, as it may be of help for others who are looking for lost pets. Prayers answered.

PLEASE - in addition to posting him here, it is VERY IMPORTANT to take "Lost Cat" flyers door-to-door through your neighborhood. If he is an indoor cat then start distributing them within a five house radius in all directions from your place. Mention if he is chipped. OFFER A REWARD! A lot of people are not on social media and will not see online posts. They NEED a flyer so they know to watch for him and call if seen! You can design the flyer on the Pawboost site. The best time to look for him is at night or very early morning. Use a flashlight to see his eyes in the dark. Ask neighbors if you can look for him under decks, patios, shrubs and in outbuildings, sheds and garages. He could have slipped in unseen and a door was shut. Take some tuna or his canned food and sit in your backyard while tapping the can and quietly call him. Put some of your unwashed laundry and bedsheet along with his bedding outside. He may be able to pick up the scents and find his way back. Do an online search "best ways to find a lost housecat" for expert tips. Follow the suggestions to increase your chances of finding him! Go to Animal Control Services or the local shelter to see if he is there. Praying.
