The mother and her puppy, no collar or tag, have lots of insect bites on them. Have been out lost all morning in the surroundings of my hse.

A mom and her puppy came by my door, no collar or tag, puppy is crying, I have given them water and food but they look scared and have insect bites all over, have been out in the sun all morning please help them! They are now hiding under my neighbor’s car…

They came back to our house just a little while ago. I fed and watered her and the one puppy that’s with her. She lets me near and even let me pet her this time. She’s a sweet heart, just comes of as defensive and protective of the puppy she’s got with with her. I’m calling animal control again in the morning. She got let out from what it looks like because she can’t get back in. I’m so done with how they’re being treated.

I hope someone can catch them and keep them safe!! Maybe they should not go to their owners!! They look in awful rough shape!! Hope they were not in dog fighting or just neglected!!

I had the same trouble last weekend when they came by. I was told by their other neighbors that someone let them out. I’m so frustrated. One of the times we called Animal Control they were able to take a few puppies with them to humane society. I just want them to be picked up and taken in by people who will take care of them.

Pilar Egüez Guevara Animal Control doesn't work on the weekend if they are still hanging around tomorrow you can try to call them then they probably know the owners as well

Rose Grist Alyson Johannsen - thank you for letting me know, I think I have seen the female dog near the park before... It's heartbreaking to see them out in the sun, completely disoriented, I think they might just die soon with this heat. I gave them water and they drank, I also put a bowl of food but they didn't touch it, afterwards I came out with a bug spray and the female dog got scared and walked away... they didn't want to come back again. I am sorry I scared them, but they clearly looked bug ridden, also how sad they have not even put a collar or name tag on them. she growled a little and I noticed she growled at a man passing by, so they can't be picked up. Plus my car is tick ridden from a couple days back my dog and I went in the woods... I called animal control about 4 hours ago but no sign of them either. 💔
