Powder is Missing in Pretoria, GP

Description

Domestic Shorthair. White cat with grey markings and striking blue eyes. Slightly chubby, with a distinctive hairless belly due to an ongoing skin condition that causes fur loss. Very affectionate and loving.

Message from Owner

This is Powder. ❤️ Powder isn't just our cat. She's family, my best friend, and a little soul who has filled our lives with so much love. She is deeply attached to both me and my partner, always by our side, always wanting to be close. She is incredibly affectionate, gentle, and loving. It's rare to find her far from us, because being together is where she feels at home. On Tuesday, 13 October 2026, Powder didn't even eat her breakfast. That was so unlike her. We haven't seen her since, and our home hasn't felt the same without her. While searching for her, we received a heart-breaking message from a lady in a community Facebook group. She reported seeing a cat matching Powder's description leap out of a vehicle near the Checkers loading area at Moreleta Corner Shopping Centre and run towards the nearby grassveld. We are holding onto the hope that this was Powder and that she is still out there somewhere, frightened and waiting to find her way home. We are completely heartbroken. Not knowing where she is, whether she's safe, or whether she's trying to find her way back to us is an indescribable kind of pain. We're caught between the fear of the unknown and the desperate hope that we'll see her walk through our door again. Powder is so loved. She is beautiful, kind, and so full of affection. She trusts us, loves us, and has always been part of our little family. We just want our girl back home, safe in our arms, where she belongs. If anyone has seen her, knows anything about what happened, or has any information at all, please, please reach out to us. Even the smallest detail could make all the difference. We miss you so much, Powder. We're still looking for you, and we're still hoping you'll come home. ❤️
