I think we've managed to connect a found cat and lost cat via the Pawboost website! Wow, love it when this happens. The owner and finder have connected and found cat should be heading home soon from the impound. Great work everyone, thanks for the tips, thoughts and prayers and help!

City impound perhaps? I had a cat missing and was there a lot - the pictures often don’t look the same as they n person - similarities I would check in every case. Write the number down and they will take you to check

Ishrah Omer I went out with treats and a flashlight for a while around the little park on 68th at six this morning. We live nearby. Please consider using these tips and doing an overnight search. Lost cat tips that actually work: Most cats come back between 12am and 6 am when the world is quiet. However, do not wait for that time to start luring them in. Put the litter outside. Also place worn socks, several pairs of shoes, worn clothes, your sofa throw, the cat bed, etc outside front and back. The cat is likely very close-by and could smell their way back. Use a good flashlight to search. The light will catch their eyes. Look under up on joists beneath decks. Do laps within a few blocks up streets and through alleys. Call them, shake treats and check behind you. Ground search along the front of houses, between houses, garages, fence lines, under cars, trailers and bushes. Always return home after a lap and call out in all directions so he can hear where you are. If they have a favourite treat, cook chicken or shrimp gently on the bbq. Make it steam with the lid up. You might get 5 cats in your yard but Ike could be yours! 😻 Through the night go outside calling them loudly but lovingly in all directions from the front and back every 30 minutes. They might get brave and come out while the rest of the world is quiet. They want to be home with you, so need to hear your voice. Put up basic LOST CAT flyers across a few blocks with your contact and brief description. Say REWARD and ask for a report if sighted. Someone might have taken them in for safe keeping and will see that the family is looking for him. Lost pet pages online are good for recognition and reunion but not everyone uses the internet or Facebook. Visualize your kitty back in their cozy spots. They want to come home and are waiting for you to find them. ✨Believe!✨🐾

To the owner, if you haven’t already, go door to door in your community to ask your neighbours. There is a good chance that the cat is hiding in someone's yard. We found our cat once 7 houses’ away, he had been hiding under their deck and they took him in.
