UPDATE: She was taken to Harbor Animal Shelter this morning since that is the shelter for the jurisdiction she was found at. The goal was for her owner to look there and find her. I called the shelter for an update just now. She declined and was euthanized.

I have no clue why this says Long Beach! This girl was found October 7th and the finder stated she was laying in grass outside on a street in Wilmington. She was brought to a vet in Torrance. She will have to go to Harbor Shelter for stray hold since she is not microchipped. My goal is that the owner sees one of my posts and reaches out because I’d love to avoid her getting stressed at the shelter but legally, that is where she must go for stray hold so her pawrents can find her. The doctor was surprised by her dental health. Especially for a dog her size so she does look loved! She is expected to be a senior. That is all of the information that we have.

If you find a dog PLEASE...... Keep it secure indoors and contact the shelter as soon as possible, to let them know you have the dog… That is the ONE place EVERY owner that cares looks, while many are not on social media or assume the worst. Also any Vet will check the dog for a chip for free. Thanks for helping the dog
