Mary Gilchrist - you would think I would have lost weight, but no. We are going to expand our search radius. I am hoping someone took her in, the weather is so unbearable. I just need them to give her back!

Amy Smith It sounds like you have done nearly everything possible. I wasn't meaning to attack you in any way. I just didn't know what if anything to keep suggesting. I'm so sorry you haven't found her. Makes me wonder if someone has taken her inside. I do know how you feel as I had a cat go missing a few years ago. She was gone for 16 days. I went out every morning and every evening walking the neighborhood, etc. I lost weight with all the walking (the only good thing about the search) and I was so upset I wasn't eating well. I did have good news as she came home on her own one morning, thank the Good Lord. She has passed on now. She was 15 when she went missing and lived 5 more years after coming home. I hope you have good news very soon.

Mary Gilchrist - I have: flown a thermal drone 2x, posted and passed out flyers on at least 3 streets, put out clothes, food, water, set cat traps for 2 weeks in places where we thought she might be hanging out, looked in at least 10 peoples back yards under sheds, decks, bushes etc. We have gone to vets offices, the Collierville Shelter and filed a report, the Germantown Shelter, Fayette County Shelter, I have contacted rescue groups, I called the microchip company and put a "lost alert" on her microchip, Knocked on doors, talked to ANYONE I see out and about and hand them a flyer. I have spent over $700 on the search. Everyday since 8/4/26 I have either gone walking & looking with flashlight, treats & meow call on my phone, passing out or hanging flyers & talking to people or re-posting online. I come home every night soaking wet because it is so hot outside and I am drenched. While out in town I ask businesses to hang our flyer in their window. There are more places to hang and pass out flyers, but I eventually have to go home to eat, shower, do my physical therapy exercises and do my work for my job. I am trying my best. We are exhausted. This is also not the only emergency we've had during the month of August, as we had an entire years worth of events this month. You may not know if I have done what is suggested, but I have done those and more. There are some neighbors who will not come to their door and will not let us in their yard, I can't do anything about that. I get up the next morning, go to school and teach and then come home and do all the Lola things again. As I drive to and from work my eyes are scanning,I even stop and hand flyers to pool guys, yard guys, pest control guys, window guys, gutter guys that I see working in the neighborhood. My sweet neighbors are watching their back yard and keeping an eye out. We have not given up...but I don't know any additional things to do. I want a trail cam and I want a collar cam for the neighborhood cat that roams around - maybe he sees her, but I can't access those things right now. I really am trying my best. Alos, usually our mail carrier comes in the late afternoon, but lately he's been early and the mail is here wehn I get hoe from work. I don't put flyers in the mailbox, because it is illegal to use the mailbox for anything other than U.S. mail.

Did you ever look in every nook and cranny all around your house and neighbors homes around you? Many times they are found hiding close by.

I shared one more time. I've given you several ways to try to find her at different times but don't know if you have done any of them. The sooner they are done the better. Have you gone to the shelter in person to see if she's there? Leave them a flyer with her picture on it and your phone number and name. Give one to your mail carrier also.
