❤️🐾 MAUI IS HOME!!! 🐾❤️ After being taken from his home over a week ago and ending up lost in an unfamiliar neighborhood, our sweet boy is FINALLY HOME SAFE!!! 🥹❤️ Thanks to an incredibly kind and helpful family who went above and beyond to help us, Maui is finally back where he belongs! We cannot thank them enough for helping bring our boy home! ❤️ He’s a little beat up, pretty skinny, and has developed a bit of a cough, so we’ll be getting him checked out by the vet. But for now, he’s getting ALL the love, snuggles, and attention he’s been missing! 🥰🐈 We are beyond relieved and grateful to have our boy back home with his family! Thank you SO much to everyone who shared our posts, kept an eye out, and helped us search for him. It truly means more than you know! 🏡❤️🐾

I have three cats and would go crazy if one of them escaped. They really are our fur babies! Years ago one of mine got out and couldn’t find him so I left the garage door open, left out a bowl of food and the next morning he was in the garage. Good luck!!

Mary Nawoichyk Goterch part of being a responsible pet owner is giving best quality of life also. ALSO her cat was literally stolen from its neighborhood by someone too dumb to observe how different this cat was from the one she was trying to "rescue".

The only way a lost cat can find its way home is with its nose. They have to use their sense of smell to get home again. Put anything outside that smells like their territory. Put the pajamas you slept in outside because you probably sweated in them. Put out their food your stinky socks your smelly sneakers anything you can think of that the cat will recognize by smell. Cats usually stay within a five house radius of their own home for up to a week or so sleeping in the bushes during the day and coming out at dusk and dawn. Those are good times to take a walk shaking the treat bag calling out but cats also tend to come out and walk around very late at night. Try to keep a door cracked if you can whether it's the garage or whatever or a window cracked so you can hear them if they call out for you. Put this on all of the neighborhood pages as well as lost and found pets sites. Knock on the neighbors doors and make sure they know you're looking for your cat. Good luck PS cats can smell up to one mile away from their own house. Absolutely no litterbox outside or food. It attracts predators is why. Never give up.
