Sean Duncan thank you. Just in my one time experience they get spooked and fly off quickly. i know what scardy birds they are, his fast safe return is #1 priority. I pray you spot him soon. Maybe record your voice to replay, over and over. might help you save your voice or voice be in 2 places at the same time. Does he like people besides his chosen?

Connie Anderson no other sightings yet, but thank you. I would say dont use the towel, he hates towels and t shirts, it would scare him. Just use your finger and call his name Tuki, maybe say "whatcha doin" and he will be calm and go on your finger. Please let me know if you see or hear anything

Also, have a light weight towel or tshirst to throw over him to prevent him from flying off once he is in reach to gently capture him and keep him confined. Any other sightings?

Please put a cage outside right up next to the house with food and water in it. Leave the door open and check on it often. If when you check and bird is in there, don’t say a word. Close the door quickly! We’ve gotten our birds back like this several times, and even got a bonus extra bird! Good luck. I’m putting a cage outside for it here at my house too. I’m a few miles away but just in case.
