Perhaps can some of these tips be helpful: Lost cat: If not back yet, perhaps can these tips be of help. Check with Animal Control/Animal Shelter in person, may need to be more than once. Put out some unlaundered clothing from his/her favorite person. Then, at dawn and dusk, when it is calm and quiet, go outside and softly call for him/her while carrying their favorite food. Do not call them if you see them. Assume a low position, blink slowly as that says “friendly, no threat”, and carry their favorite stinky food. Look in every nook and cranny inside, in pump houses, sheds, garages, play houses, and up in trees. If you have a garage, keep the door up 5-6” and put the cat bed inside about 4-5’. Also put some stinky food he likes in there. They usually stay close to home. Put up neon flyers with picture and contact info. Hope he/she is back soon! Put some canned catfood outside. Check online at the shelters everyday as cats have been trapped.
