Peanut is so precious to us, we just moved, and so she is unfamiliar with this area! She is friendly and will not hurt you, she is probably very hungry by now. Please call if u think u see her! Thank you!

If your kitty is missing, they often don’t go far. Leave out warm/cold water, post flyers & put out food in a clear storage bin on its side. Just after dark/bef dawn go a little ways from where they were lost w/a flashlight. Stand still, call them softly, look under/around bushes/decks/sheds for eye shine & movement - shake a treat bag. If cold at night, put a heating pad in a box/crate on Low in a covered area. Put out/hang items that smell like you/them so the scent carries. Call into storm drains as sound echoes. Look in sheds & crawlspaces, especially if you/neighbor had work done recently or one was left open. Ask neighbors if You Can Help check their shed/crawl space/deck. Be Active in your search; Don’t just hope they’ll find their own way back. Go out at different times daily to call and look-best time is dusk to dawn. Reposition security cams to see if you spot them after dark. Ask neighbors to check their footage. Try a humane trap, available on Amazon. Easy to use, but must be checked every hour day or night if set open bc trapped animals are vulnerable. Send pic & info to local vets, rescues & animal control. If microchipped, check info is up-to-date & mark them as lost/missing. Look for lost/found pet pgs or county animal control pgs to post on: facebook.com/profile.php?id=100067051195687 | facebook.com/lostandfoundpetsinchesterfieldandRVA | facebook.com/groups/660698751239235/ Here are sites w/info: Missing Animal Rescue Network (MARN) youtu.be/g2eCoC63B91 petfbi.org/ www.alleycat.org www.neighborhoodcats.org alleycatadvocates.org./ Nextdoor.com Pawboost.com & Ring Neighbors (no ring camera needed). Keep updating your post every 1-2 days so it shows back up in the feed. Note: leaving out litter/food in multiple places could be confusing & attract other cats/animals. Best of luck- I hope they’re home safe soon.

I live very close to her last seen location and I walked around the alleyways and talked to some neighbors telling them to be on the lookout for Peanut. Leave out food at night and get a trail camera to see what eats it. It might be her nearby!

Do you know how she got out? Most kitties try to come back in the way they got out... especially if they’re not used to going out... if you can and it’s safe, prop open the door she went out (especially at night)... that’s when they feel safer to make the attempt to come back… Do not sit outside or wait by the door… If you have other pets, which most people do, secure them in a separate room. I work with rescues mand trust me, this works! You don’t want to just leave food out because they’ll simply eat the food and run back to their hiding spot. By propping the door open, she went out, she will try to come back in that way, especially when they’re hungry. Praying she returns soon …keep the lighting low. They feel safer in low to no light … that’s why they usually try to come back in at night…keep us posted🙏🏻🐾

Put up fliers. You may need to set a trap at Dawn and dusk and monitor constantly.

Ask neighbors to check sheds, crawl spaces, garages, under decks, bushes, and anywhere else she could be trapped or hiding. Put up flyers, post on NextDoor, and notify and visit animal control. Best of luck!
