My granddaughter found him at her bus stop, he was almost hit by a car. She ran home with him and I fed him and gave him water. I posted in next door but have had no luck. Going tomorrow to see if he has a chip

If there is no microchip make sure that whoever claims him that they have solid proof of ownership. Such as vet records that you can verify by calling vet, Groomers name and number. Photos are good but can also be AI generated so be careful if just showing photos. What is the dogs name and how does her respond to it. And how does he react to seeing the person who says they are the owner. Thank you for keeping this baby safe
