As an indoor-only cat, Marco will be confused and scared and usually only 2-3 houses distant. Trail cameras can be used to catch him on photo/video with time/date stamps to determine his movement habits; cats generally hunt/feed around dawn. Once you locate him, move the cameras to cover a smaller area to discover his hiding spot. Then a plate of food near that spot for a couple of days, and then introduce a no-harm trap nearby ( sold at Lowes, Tractor Supply ) so that he gets use to seeing it. Then put the plate of food inside the trap and you should get him back. This method worked for us to capture our boy, Wolf, when he got out. But it takes time: Be patient and do not give up.
