Found this sweet baby on my neighbors property. We are really wanting to find his or hers owner. Shaking a little nervously as well.

Hi everyone! Quick update on this sweet boy 🐾 First, we found out he is a boy! A neighbor who saw the post came by with a chip scanner and checked him, but unfortunately no microchip or owner information came up. After a lot of patience and trying our best to make him feel safe, we were finally able to get him into a kennel. He was definitely scared and reacting out of fear, but even through that he still showed such a sweet demeanor. Another kind neighbor has taken him in for now so he could get off the streets and be somewhere safe. He has been out of the kennel, walking around, eating, and drinking water. He is still a little nervous, which is completely understandable, but he is safe and being looked after. We’re giving it through the weekend to see if anyone comes across the posts and recognizes or claims him. If no owner is found, we’ll be looking into the safest and best next step for him so he can get any medical care or treatment he may need and, hopefully, eventually find a loving forever home. Unfortunately, I’m unable to keep him myself because I have two bigger dogs of my own. If anyone is genuinely interested in helping, fostering, or potentially giving him a safe home, please contact me. As of now, he has been sleeping quite a bit but is still getting up and walking around. We’ll continue keeping a close eye on him and will update everyone as we learn more. Thank you so much to everyone who has shared, commented, offered help, and shown concern for this sweet baby ❤️
