My dog was attacked by a bigger dog while on a walk yesterday evening around 8:30. He ran away afraid. We looked for hours but couldn’t find him. Please let me know if you see anything.

🐶 Look and post on Nextdoor, Ring and Facebook. 🐶 Look on Petcolove, 24petconnect. Check ALL shelters, even ones far outside your area in person. Go to the shelters in person. If he is injured, they don't always post their picture on their website. 🐶 He could be hiding under a bush or car. 🐶 Call the vets in your area, even those further away. 🐶 Post flyers in the neighborhood. 🐶 Ask your neighbors if they saw him. Someone could have seen him and is keeping him safe. 🐶 Have them check their security cameras if they have them. 🐶 Also ask the postman, UPS, Amazon, anyone else that comes by your house regularly. 💖💖I hope you find Rey soon. 🙏🙏

🚨 LOST DOG – WHAT TO DO IMMEDIATELY TO HELP BRING YOUR DOG HOME 🚨 If your dog is missing, follow these critical steps right away: 🏠 Bring Them Home with Scent and Access • Hang dirty laundry (T-shirts, socks, shoes) high on a fence or branch to allow the wind to carry the scent—use items worn by the person your dog is most bonded with. • Dogs can smell home from miles away—your scent can guide them back. • Leave an access point open such as a cracked garage or front door in case they return. • Sleep near the front door if possible—your presence may help them feel safe enough to come back. • If you have other pets, keep them secured in a separate room. 📣 Post large Signs & Notify Everyone • Make signs with a clear photo and your contact info. • Put signs everywhere—on poles, street corners, and especially on doorsteps in the neighborhood. • Ask neighbors to check security cameras (e.g., Ring) for sightings. 🌐 Spread the Word Online • Post on local: • Lost & Found Facebook groups • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring Neighbors app • Include your contact info, dog’s name, and location last seen. 🐶 Microchip & Shelter Alerts • If your dog is microchipped, notify the chip company immediately and mark your pet as lost. • Call ALL nearby (even 1-2 hours away) animal shelters and rescues, and leave a detailed voicemail if no one answers.
