Description

BENGAL (Beautiful)

Message from Finder

We were walking our dogs when we saw a beautiful cat just hanging out in the shade against the curb. It didnt look distressed but accepted food and water from the nice lady that was just getting home. I asked if it was her cat. She said she thought it was stray. She heard the cat out in front of her garage at 4am. She gave it food and water then, too. Seemed wary, but not frightened. I would have taken it to check for a chip. I'm sorry we didnt go home and get the car and a cat carrier. I worried if we tried that it might run and it's so close to 2nd street. When we did get home I got distracted but felt like I should report that 2days ago the cat was healthy and happy. I hope this helps. It's the prettiest cat I have ever seen!]6_5g4tt5trgtf

Nicki Todd that cat needs to be kept inside because I guarantee it people will try to steal it. They are lucky they haven't.

I am pretty sure it's in a post with that baby like that. That is not your regular type baby. It is a very expensive cat and nobody would dump it. Please someone check it for a chip because I guarantee you it has one. I am looking for the post.

Nicki Todd I am sooo glad to hear that! Thank you for the update. My best cat ever of bobcat fever in early spring 3 yrs ago, I'd never heard of it. It was an awful way for him to perish, but he lived a long life in our neighborhood and came home to our house every night. The ER Vet on Danforth said one bite from that tick will a cat in 2 -3 days. I had the expensive tick and flea collar on, and had just bought a new one but that was the week he . We have ticks in the Cross Timber region year-round now. A friend found a kitten that was born 2 yrs ago and we raised him. Such a cute baby, and a pretty gray &white shorthair that we don't ever let go out but he still got the 12 mo shot. He's a sneaky wanna-be-outside-cat and probably was a feral or barn cat. He's put so many scars on me. He loves me but I'm the Spare. He's only gotten out the door 4 times but didnt make it out of our yard. He punishes me for catching him and not letting him roam...

Dee MoonChild I agree was just saying though how it closely resembles an ocelot

Debra Hallford it’s definitely a bengal.

Anita Stock a lot of bengals are notorious for spraying indoors so that could be the reason he gets let out. Not saying that’s the best option but that could be a reason…. I have 2 bengals that I would never let roam for multiple reasons but we don’t have the full story with this one.

Beautiful cat. My babydoll only stays indoors. Too many predators outside 😪.

I am sure the cat knows where his home is. However, he doesn't know his owners are not being responsible to him. He doesn't know vehicles can him and he doesn't know he is a very expensive animal that strangers may for financial gain. By nature, I am sure he is happiest roaming but he doesn't know that way of living is not in his best interest.
