If he has never been out, he is probably close by. Go out at night with a flashlight. The light will make his eyes glow and help you see him. They go into survival mode and most of the time are even afraid of their family. Put his bed outside if you have a dry place. That will give him a scent to follow. Also I would put up some signs. Some people don’t see the social media posts.
