Pls create a scent station for him. Outside the door he is most familiar with, place these items: his cat bed, blanket, the dirtiest and smelliest clothing of his favorite person, toys and food and water (bring the food in at night). Turn on the porch light for that door and, if you’re comfortable with it, leave the door open enough for him to get back inside. Don’t put the litter box out as it will attract predators. At night, take a flashlight out and a noisy bag of treats and look under and behind bushes, under cars, etc. If he sees the light, his eyes will reflect to you. Cats are more active at night and don’t usually go far from home.
