I've seen this ad for the lost dog for almost 2 years now I hope it's true there's a lot of scammers out there and people that believe in it I reward offered would have been wonderful I just don't know how much of this is true if I'm wrong forgive me.

This may help. 1 hang out the pajamas you slept in last night. They know your smell and will search for it. 2 report them as lost to the shelter and on all available websites. 3 Check with groomers, vets, shelters, your postman, neighbors and delivery people. 4 put a large sign in your yard with a photo snd your contact info. Put out flyers (even handwritten) on front doors, near mailboxes, and on porches. 5 if you feel safe, knock on doors, ask about you pet and when you say their name say it loud and happy, they could be there. You never know. When they hear your voice they will whine, bark or scratch to let you know they hear you. 6 walk the area they were last in,to make sure they aren’t caught in brush, behind a closed door, or hung on something they tried to go under around or over. The also follow power lines that are clear cut. 7 Contact search and rescue groups in your area they can be a lot of help.
