This cat has been hanging out in the parking lot of the Brookdale Library and around Centennial park. It is very friendly and comes right up to people and begs to be pet. Library staff gave it cat food and water and are looking for the owner.

Sandra Edwards My Co worker and I took it to the vet yesterday and it's not chipped. It jumped out of my arms when we got back and ran off, but was back today. Chowed down a couple cans of food this afternoon and has water. Very sweet and follows me around like a dog.

Please take him in to a vet they will check for a chip at no charge. I hope he wasn’t dumped but if he was I’m so thankful that you are caring for him.

Place cat in a carrier and call the police to pick up. They would take to PUPS to hold for owner. Kitty should be secured and not be left to roam for its own safety https://www.brooklyncentermn.gov/government/departments/public-safety/police/animal-impound
