Please trap the cat and take the cat to the Humane Society otherwise the cat will become food for some predator being lost in a wooded area like that is very dangerous and the cat could possibly be a dumped cat abandoned or actually a lost cat which most of the time they are not lost they're just thrown outside to fend for themselves. Don't you have any friends that you could put the cat with a garage or something because this cat might not survive the night or the weekend if he is truly an inside cat at one time somebody's pet. But you need to get the cat to the Humane Society if you can otherwise let other people know message rescues message Humane Society etc cats probably starving and thirsty
