For whomever found the dog: If you have not already, please get this dog scanned for a chip. Please post flyers in the area where s/he was found. Not everyone is on social media. Also, please do not try to re-home the dog on your own. If needed, please take the pup to an animal rescue or animal services. They will know how to properly screen prospective new homes, in case the dog's people do not eventually figure out where s/he is. Also, check and recheck Pawboost LOST listings. Sadly, there are too many bad people out there with unkind intentions, regardless of what they may tell you. Not everyone, of course, but they are certainly out there and the shelters/rescue services know how to properly filter them out of the adoption process (or at least are better equipped to do so). Thank you for caring for this pup meanwhile.
