This beautiful kitty showed up on our doorstep 10/4 in the evening, eating the food we put out for ferals. When it stepped off the porch, I went outside to see where it went and it was sitting on our window sill, turned around and looked at me. I came out and sat on the step, and it jumped down and ran over to me, pushing "his" (I think) head into my hand and rubbing against my leg. My husband came out, and "he" did the same to him. We live right on Emory Rd, and while we talked about what to do, "he" started walking across the lawn towards Emory Rd. We called to "him" and he turned back to us, coming back to the he porch. A little context here - we foster cats for a rescue and had an open room to get "him" to a safer place. We got one of our carriers so we could bring him inside to the room ("he" let me pick him up and put 'him' in with little struggle) and set him up with a water fountain, hard food (the good kind 🙂), wet food, some beds and blankets, as well as a TV playing bird videos."He" looks well fed, well taken care of, and is wearing a purple (maybe) flea collar. "He" is not chipped. We live in 37931, near Oxmoor neighborhood.
