Brownie is Missing in San Antonio, TX

She’s a long medium/small dog. She has thin fur. She’s brown with white on her chest and a little white on her paws, she doesn’t have a collar. She has a big long scar on her back. She’s very shy and skittish.

Hello I just recently lost my dog in downtown San Antonio around 12pm due to her getting attacked by another dog. I was standing outside with my dog and this lady and her dog passes by and her dog immediately starts attacking my dog. Once this happens I tried to get my dog inside a building next to us to get us away from the other dog, but the lady lets go of her dogs leash and the dog fully attacks my dog. Due to this my dog slipped out of her collar and was being chased by this other dog. The police were able to get the lady’s dog but not mine. I immediately ran trying to get my dog but she was so scared that she kept bolting until the point where I lost sight of her. This has definitely been the most devastating experience. Me and my family have been searching for her the whole day. Afternoon until night. We called almost all pet support services, asking everyone who we ran past seeing if they saw our dog, even asking the police. But unfortunately no one has found her yet. It was her birthday yesterday. She just turned 1. We wanted to celebrate her more today but unfortunately due to the horrible circumstances we couldn’t. She’s means the absolute world to my family and I, and all we want is for our dog to be home safe and sound. If anyone finds our dog please approach her slowly and gently and give us a call immediately. It would be very much appreciated. Thank you❤️
