We found this sweet little dog following several people near 11th Street and Pine Avenue. He appeared to be asking for help, but sadly, people kept pushing and kicking him away. We stopped the car and gently encouraged him to follow us. While I stayed with him, my husband went home to get one of our unused crates so we could bring him somewhere safe. We took him to the Long Beach Animal Emergency hosp to check for a microchip, but unfortunately, he does not have one. He also has a serious skin condition or allergies on his back, so we will be taking him to a veterinarian to have him examined and treated. We will post flyers around the neighborhood where he was found, but we need your help sharing this post. If this is your dog, or if you recognize him and know where he belongs, please reach out. We will ask for photos or identifying information to make sure he is returned to the correct person.
