Darling cat! Is he neutered? Put out his bedding or piece of your clothing so scent can get him home. Post him on Greenhill lost and found web site and Next Door site. Quality playtime with you and wand toys alleviates boredom and gets him exercised (running, jumping, chasing "prey"). Cat tree by window to watch world go by. Best wishes. Keep us posted.

So we secured all our other cats in different rooms and left the front door open ( it was the one she escaped from). When it started getting dark and quiet out she came right back in the door. I had heard of others being successful doing this and thought it was worth a try, and luckily it worked!!

Always leave your door open so they can come back in especially around 1am when it's quiet.
