Message from Owner

We recently moved into a new home and our family cat got outside. I have had this cat for over 10 years, she has been around for all 4 of my children’s births, she means the world to us. We are so devastated and have spent hours outside looking for her. She is a sweetheart so I am hoping she went up to somebody and they let her inside. We are worried sick about our Fat Cat.

~~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… Someone may have him thinking he was abandoned… Someone may have a camera that captured something… Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… If the dog is microchipped, call the company ASAP … Report you animal missing to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters. Cats are nocturnal animals so your best search period will be in the early morning hours (12-5am) when it’s quiet outside. The suggestion to put worn clothing of the persons your cat is most closely bonded to will be critical since you are in a new location as far as attracting your cat home. If you have a baby monitor put it by the opening your cat escaped from so you can hear them when they try to return. 🙏🏻
Place an article or two of your worn clothing outside like on the front porch to help attract her back home. Go out in the early morning and early evening gently calling her name while shaking a bag of treats.
