Message from Owner

My 3 year old cat Gaia has seem to have gone missing when I got home from work. Both of my other cats are still here, and we found no way for her to be able to escape. We’ve checked ALL of her usual hiding spaces. Please keep an eye out.

Put clothes with your scent outside and check bushes and trees with a flashlight at night shake bag of treats or dry food and call it's name

Try Going out late at night ie midnight and again early am ie 5 or 6 am with their smelly food and treats. Shake treat bag and call out their name. Take a flashlight and check under porches and bushes. Also if you can leave a basement window and garage door open so they can get in. Do for multiple days if needed. Good luck.

There are a few proactive things you need to do right way… I would go outside and call for her and shake a treat bag regularly. She may be holed up behind a bush or hiding. Probably not far away but they do get freaked out once they get out. Can you put your garage up 6”? Put a bed and water out there. He needs water 24/7. You can register her to multiple Lost sites. That way you get a poster to put up to alert neighbors she’s missing. Put them up also at more major crossings and intersections. Do the most right away. Check alleys and outdoor cat colonies in your area. Also a live TRAP is very effective when she gets hungry she’ll take the stinky tuna bait. Put it up near your house where you can monitor it often. I would only do this during the day and at dusk. Put her favorite blanket or your jacket over one end so she’s not as aware of the cage. Good luck.🍀 Hope you spot her.

You might be surprised where they can find a hide if you have no idea how she got out. It's no different than when you misplace your car keys and all of a sudden you find them someplace you already looked 3 times
