Light tan terrier mix, approximately 9 pounds, 10.5 years old, darker brown chihuahua ears, dark brown-black eyes, long wirey fur, pink name tag. Update 2/24: thanks for all the msgs regarding “Dory” at the MV Shelter. I contacted them and Dory isn’t my Frannie. Dory is not spayed so it was a quick answer.

Frannie was taken last night very unexpectedly. She was going to the bathroom in our backyard, which backs up to the hills behind our hse, barked a couple of times, and yelped once. We immediately went outside to get her, but Frannie was gone with no sign. Since searching the surrounding trails we've found little evidence of her being there, even when searching with another family member's German Shepard. If any sign of Frannie is found, or if anyone has experience with a similar case involving coyotes or other wild animals, we'd appreciate any messages. Thank you.
