Robbie Siclari can you hold her for more than a couple of days? Animal control is not a place for this dog Stray hold is 5 days. It’s very stressful for a dog to be there at all especially one like this. If you cannot, maybe we can see if we can get a foster. to care for her so that she doesn’t end up at animal control Thank you for all the love that you’re giving her.

It’s against the law to give a found dog away without exhausting all options it’s considered personal property. Call shelters in your area and give found dog description, let them know you are fostering dog for now. Take to any vet or fire station and get a full body scan ( chips can move) Post on Nextdoor Ring app Pawboost Be careful who you give the dog to, there are bad people that use as bait or other nefarious acts, also they will bring children to make you think they are family. Get DL, address, go to the address to verify, check if they have any vet references. Just treat like you would want your pets to be treated and cared for, they are precious souls. Please hold this puppy longer than two days; report her as found to Broward County Animal Care in case owners are looking for her. The shelter has a 7 day stray hold; please allow more time; it’s illegal to give a found dog away without exhausting all options to find the owner. Thank you for keeping her safe.
