This is my second post hoping to reach all surrounding communities. This dog belongs to someone judging by his nails and appearance I would guess he escaped a yard potentially under a fence as his back was a little dusty. Dog has colar but no tags. Dog taken to vet and has no microchip. He is currently being sheltered with food and water. Hoping to reunite him with his family but must be able to prove ownwership.

It’s illegal to just keep a found dog in Marion county . You have to scan for a microchip and try to find their family for 14 day before you can legally keep or rehome a found pet. They have a family that clearly loves them if they are that old . They have lived a life of love usually . I’m sure they also miss their home
